Megalodon is a massive shark from most of the Oligocene-Pleistocene world. It is the biggest of all sharks, being 60 feet long and weighing up to 100 tons.

In PaleoCraft, Megalodon resembles a huge great white shark, with gray scales, a long tail fin, a white underside, and some big dorsal and pectoral fins as well. It is very aggressive and territorial, and will attack the second it sees you in its territory.

Megalodon are always on the prowl in oceans. Megalodon tanks require a lot of water due to its massive size, at least a 100x100 sized tank for the Megalodon to live in, not to mention plenty of food and perimeter strength (Megalodon could probably smash through most materials, speaking realistically). The tank should be round, same as all sharks, due to the fact that if the big shark accidentally ran into a corner, it could cause a serious injury to its nose, the most sensitive part of a shark's anatomy. The tank would also need some vegetational cover so the giant shark could dart in and out of cover.

Megalodon are not picky eaters. They will eat anything, including fish, turtles, dolphins, seals, porpoises, dugongs, and even whales. Some of their prey were fairly big, so they will also want to go after you. If you have a Megalodon tank, do not put any aquatic life that is way smaller than the Megalodon, for the giant shark will gobble them all up.
