Overview
Quetzalcoatlus is a large azhdarchid pterosaur from Late Cretaceous North America. It is known for its massive size and razor-sharp beak. It possesses a brightly-colored crest that could have been a sign of maturity and used in mating rituals.
In PaleoCraft, Quetzalcoatlus is orange in color, with a visible blue crest. It can be distinguished from other pterosaurs by its enormous size, large wings, and loud screeches.
Environment
Quetzalcoatlus prefers to hang out on high cliffs where it can take off at a moments notice and use its incredible eyesight to home in on dinner. Quetzalcoatlus pens can be difficult to build; they need to have a closed top so they won't fly out, but also need to be a massive structure for them to fly comfortably around in and exercise their wings.
Food
Quetzalcoatlus, originally thought to be a scavenger ravaging carrion, is now known to snack on juvenile dinosaurs. So, watch out before putting small dinosaurs in the same area as Quetzalcoatlus, as the huge pterosaur will gobble them up.
