Dromaeosaurus is a dromaeosaurid, or "raptor", from Cretaceous North America. It was the first dromaeosaurid discovered, and so gave its name to the whole group.

In PaleoCraft, Dromaeosaurus is covered in red and brown feathers. It looks vaguely similar to Troodon, but has a heavier build and is a bit larger. It can be tamed by feeding it raw meat; a tamed Dromaeosaurus will follow you.

Dromaeosaurus prefers temperate biomes, and can be found in temperate rainforests, plains, and cold forests. If you want to keep Dromaeosaurus, put them in a large pen with plenty of cover and foliage.

Dromaeosaurus is a fierce predator, albeit only of smaller animals such as chickens. They will hunt any chickens they see, so they will quickly decimate your farms if you let them run free. Tamed Dromaeosaurus will do this as well, so be careful.

It is possible to tame a Dromaeosaurus by feeding it raw meat. The "Dromie" will follow you around, and help you fight similar to a wolf. The tamed Dromaeosaurus owner defense/attack is still being constantly worked on, but it is sure to follow you wherever you go.

Currently Dromaeosaurus appears to attack like a wolf would, however it will not deal any damage.
